J.D. Shelley holds the rank of 5th Degree Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He is a 2X Pancrase MMA Champion and a 2X IBJJF Masters World No Gi Champion. He is also a Blue Pra Jiad in Muay Thai.
