We’re back at Southern Junction Texas in Irving, TX, for Big D Beatdown #6 on Saturday, May 31, 2025! Get ready for an adrenaline-packed event featuring youth MMA and No-Gi grappling matches in a professional cage.

Event Date & Time:

• Date: Saturday, May 31, 2025

• Location: Southern Junction Texas, 101 N. Rodgers Rd, Irving, TX

• Doors Open: 11:00 AM

• Matches Start: 2:00 PM

Match Details:

• Ages 7-17

• Each athlete gets one MMA match

• No head strikes / limited contact

• 3 x 2-minute rounds in the cage (1-minute break between rounds)

• Development league – no winners or losers (per Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation)

• Matches are monitored by USAMMA-licensed referees and officials

• Matches set by a USAMMA-licensed matchmaker

• Athletes & Coaches must have an active USAMMA license

Special Rewards & Donations:

• Cash prizes for matches

• Ticket proceeds will be donated to Scottish Rite

Weigh-Ins:

• Date: Saturday, May 31, 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM

• Location: Southern Junction Texas, 101 N. Rodgers Rd, Irving, TX

• What to Bring:

• Gear (fingerless MMA gloves, shin guards, groin protection, mouthpiece)

• USAMMA License

• Signed Event Waiver

  • Only one parent/guardian per athlete allowed in the weigh-in area.

  • Face-off times will be scheduled the week before.
